Ahhh Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year!!! Each year I come up with 25 different activities that I want to do with my family. I take that list and then find a fun way to present them to the kids each day. In the past I have written each activity on a small slip of construction paper and then linked them together to form a chain. Then each day the kids can remove a chain and it’s like a countdown to Christmas with a surprise activity to do each day. Isabel loved it!!
I have also written the activities on small slips of paper and tucked them into the pockets of our advent calendar (I have this one). Then each day when Isabel picks the figurine from the pocket she also pulls out the activity for the day. Again, she loved doing this.
I have made a list of activities in the form of a free printable so that you can easily print it off and have the ideas handy, but of as always, tailor the list however you would like. I typically look at the local events calendar and find everything that I’d like to attend and plan the activities from there. With everything going on this year, I tried to tailor my list to things that everyone could do!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
