Pictures and memories line the walls of this local and fun family diner. When you arrive you can choose to sit outside or inside, but be prepared, you may be in for a little wait. Thankfully you are at the beach and can stroll the street while you wait.
We were seated (outside) by a very friendly server, but since the place was so busy, we found we were waiting on her quite a bit which was a little frustrating.
I was underwhelmed by the drinks – the coffee was pretty flavorless and the orange juice was not fresh, but thankfully the food made up for it.
Main Street Burrito – Everything in this burrito blended well. I was a little skeptical because of the sprouts, but it was really good. The tortilla could have been a little hotter.
Keppler’s Special – Mmmm, my favorite of the morning. I swapped scrambled eggs for poached eggs which I enjoy more. The English muffin was not hard or soggy, the hollandaise was nice and creamy, and the bacon was crispy. The hashbrowns were really good, but I would order them crispy next time.
Pancakes – These were moist and delicious. I love a good pancake!
Overall, I thought that this diner was a great find. The food was very good and the portions were pretty large at very affordable prices.
