If you want to splurge, the Hyatt Regency at Huntington Beach is worth every penny. It’s almost like a resort as it has so much to offer.

Upon checking in, the staff was friendly and very genuine. I felt like I was talking to a friend, and the receptionist was happy to help with reservations or booking activities.

Our room specifically was amazing. It was immaculately clean, modern, spacious yet cozy, and the bed was extremely comfortable – perfect for relaxation. We had an amazing view of the beach from our balcony as well which allowed us to watch the sunrise over the ocean without having to leave the room.

The main draw of Huntington is the beach, and the location of the hotel couldn’t be better to get to it. And if you want to take a break from the beach, the pool at the hotel has a lot to offer. Not only do they have a typical pool with lounge chairs & umbrellas, they also have a water slide and playground area for kids with huge flat screens and multiple Jacuzzis.

We had a wonderful dinner at Pete’s Sunset Grill, and enjoyed our meal and cocktails outside cozied up by the fire pit. The restaurant staff was just like the rest of the staff we experienced at the hotel – attentive, friendly, and helpful. This is only one of the many restaurants they have at the hotel.

The gym was first-class with updated and clean machines all in working order. They also have a spa which I unfortunately did not get to try out because it looked absolutely marvelous.

I had such a wonderful stay at the Hyatt and can’t wait to return to Huntington Beach to take advantage of even more that the hotel had to offer.
